I’ve always heard people talk about drishti in the South and nazar in the North. Both mean the same thing. It’s when someone’s gaze or thoughts carry envy, jealousy, or admiration that turns into a subtle form of negative energy.
.
.
You may have seen it happen. A cheerful baby suddenly cries for no reason after everyone praises them. You’re having a great day, feeling light and cheerful, and then out of nowhere, you feel drained or develop a dull headache. Nothing else changes except that you posted something a few hours earlier. Or you share some good news, maybe a new project or a major deal, and soon after, the plan unexpectedly falls through. It’s as if the excitement attracted a wave of mixed thoughts from others.
.
.
That’s what people call drishti. It’s not superstition. It’s energy in motion.
.
.
I never thought much about it until I began practising dowsing. Once I learnt to sense energy, I could clearly feel when something had entered my space. It made me realise how easily thoughts and emotions travel.

We all share our lives online. A new car, a holiday, a dinner at a fancy restaurant, or a happy moment with family. Out of a hundred people who see it, only a few genuinely feel joy for you. The rest might unconsciously send thoughts of comparison or jealousy. Those thoughts have energy, and that energy reaches you.
.
.
I’ve experienced it myself. Once I shared my photo, and within two hours of posting, I checked through dowsing and found that I had drishti.
.
.
Now, I cleanse myself daily. Just as we bathe to clean the body, I use dowsing to clear myself of any form of negativity.

Many successful business families in the South live quietly for this reason. They may have immense wealth, but you’d never know it. They travel simply, dress modestly, and often prefer comfort over show. What stands out about them is their grounded nature. They don’t feel the need to prove anything to anyone. Over generations, they’ve understood that humility is the best protection. It shields them from jealousy, keeps their minds calm, and their energy clean.
.
.
In a world where everything is shared, it helps to keep a little bit just for yourself. Some moments are meant to be lived, not posted.
